Ramallah / Norway — CFJ has announced the appointment of a new colleague to its West Bank team. The Norway office warmly welcomes Alice Abdo, who assumes her new role as Program Manager.
The Norway office team expressed strong enthusiasm and confidence in the future collaboration with Alice, especially after initial meetings and correspondence that reflected positive energy and a shared vision for advancing the work.
Extensive Experience and Academic Credentials
Alice Abdo brings more than 10 years of professional experience in program design, results-based management, and capacity building across humanitarian and economic sectors. She holds a Master’s degree from Birzeit University and has a proven record in implementing and quality-assuring grassroots community initiatives and projects.
Responsibilities in Her New Role
In her new position at CFJ, Alice will oversee the day-to-day management of activities and operations, in addition to:
- Developing strategies, preparing reports, and leading evaluation processes.
- Ensuring the financial stability and security of projects.
- Strengthening and supporting the organization’s vital community work to enhance community resilience in difficult conditions and fragile environments.
A Continuing Journey of Service
Since CFJ began its work in Palestine in 2007, the organization has successfully attracted many young staff members and volunteers. Alice’s appointment continues this journey and builds on the efforts of former colleagues who left a meaningful mark on the shared work between Palestine and Norway.
