During the project's second phase, the main focus was on constructing a brand-new football field. This decision was made after recognizing the deep passion and love that the community has for sport, especially football. It was evident that football was widely popular among the community youth and adults, but unfortunately, there was no dedicated facility for practicing and playing organized games. Therefore, the goal of this phase was to provide a proper space where the community could come together and actively participate in sports activities within a safe and well-maintained environment. Also, the girls and the young female were having terrible in finding a place to play football, but this project will secure the required facility and help in solve these problems. The football field was designed to meet regulation standards, with high-quality gross, proper drainage systems, and boundary lines for official matches. This addition to the park encouraged physical fitness and laid the foundation for organizing local tournaments and sports events, creating a sense of community pride. The football field quickly became a centerpiece for social interaction and a park activity center.

The lack of formal sports facilities in Beit Ummar Park was a major problem for the community. Community members were unable to participate in organized physical activity due to the lack of a dedicated football stadium, which also had a disadvantage in their development of critical skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship. This lack of infrastructure has the potential to contribute to long-term health and social issues within the community, increasing the need for accessible and safe venues for recreational and competitive sports.

The solution to this problem was to construct a football field that meets to official standards, with high-quality grass, proper drainage and regulation goal poles. This field would serve as a venue for both casual play and organized local tournaments, making it a key recreational asset for the community. By providing a well-maintained space for football, the field will encourage physical activity and teamwork among community members of all ages. This will not only encourage healthy lifestyles but also enhance the community spirit through friendly matches and competitive events. The goal of this addition is to create a vibrant environment that will enable locals to come together, celebrate their passion for sports, and engage in friendly competition. In the end, this will enhance the overall appeal and functionality of the park.

1. Ground Preparation: The primary step was to prepare the ground for the football field. The land was prepared by leveling the area using heavy machinery to ensure that the land was even and ready for the installation of artificial grass. They also keep the old stones and used it in making the steps and the setting place in a way that combine the old place with the modern new installations.
2. Installing Drainage Systems: A comprehensive drainage system was installed beneath the field to prevent waterlogging during rain. This system ensures that the field can be used as a playing space in all weather conditions, also protecting the surface from damage and ensuring the players' safety.
3. Laying Artificial grass: High-quality artificial grass was used by laying it across the field. It was chosen for its durability and low maintenance. This grass provides a smooth, and safe playing surface which can resist heavy use while reducing the risk of injuries.
4. Installing Goal Poles and Boundary Lines: To ensure that the field could be used for official matches and tournaments regulation goal poles and also marked boundary lines were installed.

The installation of the football field significantly transformed the park, making it a popular gathering spot for local athletes of all ages from young to adults. Its presence provided an accessible and organized space for both youth and adults to hone their skills and lead an active lifestyle on a regular basis. Furthermore, this development of the football field has not only encouraged regular training sessions but has also enabled the community members to come together to host various local tournaments and sports events, providing an avenue for fostering stronger community ties and involvement.

The football field has progressed into a prominent important point for social interaction within the community, serving as a center for community members of all ages to come together. It became also a main place for summer camps, either from the community members using it or the visitors from areas around Beit Ummer like Al Arrub refugee camp, Surif, Idhna, Beit Fajjar and sometimes visitors from Hebron who want the quiet of the village and like to stay away from the crowds of the city. The football field's impact extends beyond just providing a space for organized sports activities; it has become an encouragement ground for fostering essential values such as teamwork, discipline, and community pride, particularly among the younger members of the community. Through regular sports activities and team activities, the football field has effectively contributed to the complete development of the community members in different life aspects.

The addition of the football field to the park significantly enhanced its appeal and usability for the community members and the nearby areas. Which makes it draw in a higher number of visitors. This increase in foot traffic has had a positive impact on the surrounding vendors and businesses, by boosting their sales and visibility. Additionally, the presence of the football field has set the stage for hosting future events, and tournaments potentially creating new sources of revenue for the community. The park's evolving and including more facilities will have the potential for greater economic and more opportunities will emerge with benefits for the whole community.

The second phase completion of the football field was a big achievement for the project. By providing a valuable recreational space for the community members, it encouraged community members to go out and engage in different activities. The football field's success in attracting community members to the park which led to promoting physical fitness and wellness, making it a new beginning for a healthy and active life in Beit Ummar.
